Susan S. Etkin grew up on Philadelphia’s Main Line and graduated from Temple University with a bachelor’s in English for secondary education. She also holds a master’s in literacy and a doctorate in curriculum and instruction, both earned at the University of Cincinnati. Her professional life has entailed writing and teaching experiences, as well as entrepreneurship in the art and design fields. Her husband’s career within a large US conglomerate prompted numerous moves. Etkin and her two sons always viewed Dad’s relocations, which took the family to four states on the East Coast, as well as to Ohio, as adventures. Etkin now lives in a suburb of Philadelphia and is grateful that her sons and daughters-in-law decided to raise their families nearby. She devotes her days to reading and writing novels that focus on romance and topics of interest to women.
