Legends of Tomorrow started as a spin-off series from the DC Comic shows but has become the most legendary (pun intended) show in the whole Arrowverse. Complex characters, comic book action, varying superpowers, and time-travel? What else could you ask for?

There are many characters that have come and gone, but the Legends are legends for a reason, right? They leave a legacy and usually screw things up for the better. No matter what course of history they’re changing, we still love to watch our favorite characters in action. So, to celebrate the closing of the sixth season and the incredible series as a whole, we’re recommending a book based on your favorite Legend!

If your favorite Legend is Rip Hunter, read Murmuration by Sid Balman Jr.

Who wouldn’t love a cunning and determine leader? The Legends wouldn’t be where they are today without Rip, both fortunately and unfortunately. He’s a leader willing to risk everything to save what’s important. Rip gives Promethus Stone vibes, as he, too, brings together a group of people that are all trying survive in a world of their own personal terrors in the twenty-first century. Prevailing from wars to Somali militias to dealing with white supremacists, these characters prove to be not only a team, but heroes in their own sense.

If your favorite Legend is Sara Lance/White Canary, read Lore by Alexandra Bracken

If you love Sara Lance, then you most definitely have a knack for strong, sassy, female leads who have some deep-rooted issues due to family/personal trauma. Well, then you should definitely follow Lore Perseous on her quest. She is taking hold of her own destiny and joining forces with unlikely allies to stop the rising of a new Greek God who threatens to doom the world. Sound familiar?

If your favorite Legend is Dr. Martin Stein/Firestorm, read Pursuits Unknown by Ellen Clary

If Dr. Stein is your favorite, then you love a dynamic duo and/or really like the scientists of this show. Assuming you enjoy both, you probably like a good thriller, too. Pursuits Unknown is a unique adventure that follows Amy and Lars, her dog that has a telepathic connection with her. After they find a missing scientist, whose work has been infiltrated, they must go undercover to find out what the people who stole it plan to use it for, and try to save their world. Nothing is as it seems though with this quest.

If your favorite Legend is Jax/Firestorm, read Cold Snap by Codi Schneider

Young. Confident. Smart. Sometimes in a little over their head. Jax has stolen the hearts of many, and as the other half of Dr. Stein, it’s only fitting that I suggest to you this dynamic-duo mystery. Bijou is a house cat, but as her blood is fueled by Viking ancestors, she has some serious battle skills. Not only does she have her human, Spencer, but her assistant Pomeranian, Skunk. They have to stick together when there’s a shocking murder/dognapping—and only Bijou can solve it. And let’s be honest: Jax would be completely thrilled with reading a book from a cat’s perspective.

If your favorite Legend is Ray Palmer/Atom, read Firewall by Eugenia Lovett West

If Ray Palmer, also known as Atom, is your fav then you’re definitely a romantic and love technology. . In which case, you definitely need to read Firewall. After the death of Emma’s husband, her mother-in-law is blackmailed and she turns to Emma for help. Emma is sucked into the dark world of cybercrime and it takes her wit and resilience to survive.

If your favorite Legend is Mick Rory/Heat Wave, read Razorblade Tears by S.A. Cosby

You like the complex bad-boys? Mick seems to enjoy his darkness but can’t resist redemption—just like the fathers Ike and Buddy Lee. Much like the partnership between Heat Wave and Captain Cold, these fathers are putting their criminal records to use in order to avenge the death of both their sons. Action-packed, yet darkly comforting.

If your favorite Legend is Nate Heywood/Steel, read The Templar Legacy by Steve Bary

While Nate Heywood may be hell-bent on having a good time with his historical artifacts, the fact you chose this Legend speaks to your love of a good, humorous, fun-loving treasure hunt—add in a stellar super-strength and you’re set. The Cotton Malone series is genuinely Nate in another life, with the detective mystery and history conspiracy. It’s everything you’ve been looking for if you wanted a little more Nate in your life.

If your favorite Legend is Zari Tomaz, read Witch Wars by Alane Adams

Zari has a lot of fun when she’s wielding the Air Totem, the source of her ability to airbend. So, you for sure love mystical powers and adventures if she’s your favorite. Witch Wars is a captivating middle-grade novel, filled with twists, an ancient he-witch, giants, and tracking down the God of Thunder himself, Thor. Not to give too much away, but  Zari would definitely love the magic and quests in this book, not to mention the cunning and witty characters that will remind you of Zari, herself.

If your favorite Legend is Ava Sharpe, read The Lights of Prague by Nicole Jarvis

If you’re anything like Ava, you may have a dark side that’s a little ruthless, and you definitely have a thing for falling in love with strong leader characters. If you also have a thing for strong leader characters, you’ll fall in love with the strong leader, Domek, and the scenes of Europe that captivate the characters and readers alike. Get ready for magic and action and a little darkness.
